What we are doing to keep you safe (New protocols required by the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario):
Daily COVID-19 screening for therapists.
Daily temperature check for therapists. (not required by CMTO)
New PPE and IPAC (Infection Prevention and Control) training for Ontario Health Care Workers completed.
COVID-19 screening of all clients and visitors prior to entering the building.
Hand sanitizing stations in various easily accessible areas of the office.
Enhanced cleaning and disinfecting procedures in the treatment room and common area of my office before and after each client.
Enhanced twice daily cleaning and disinfecting procedures in the common area and washroom outside of my office, but in the building.
Surgical grade mask worn by therapist and mask worn by client at all times.
HEPA Air Purifier in the treatment room (helps to capture viral contaminants in droplets suspended in air, as well as other particles) (not required by CMTO)
The hallway and office have been altered in order to prevent touching of shared surfaces that cannot be disinfected (i.e. books, magazines, water service, etc.).
Patti Howitt and Heather Cornell are Registered Massage Therapists specializing in the John F. Barnes Myofascial Release approach.
Myofascial release is a results-based hands on therapy developed and taught by John F. Barnes, PT for 50 years. Patti and Heather receive their training directly from John.
